Two days ago I took a home pregnancy test…

Well, let me start from the beginning. About a week and a half ago I started feeling really crappy pretty much all day. I thought it was my hyperthyroidism possibly starting to go away, since Em isn’t nursing as much as she was before. I had no energy, wanted to sleep all the time, felt a little queasy…pretty obvious signs of pregnancy, right? Well I didn’t even think that was it, it honestly didn’t even cross my mind. I haven’t had a period since 7/31/04. Yep, that’s right, 2004. It hadn’t came back yet after having Em. And with having the hyperthyroidism it means even less of a chance since it’s messes with the system so much. It’s not like we were crazy careless either!

So anyway, a few days after starting to feel that way, I also started having to pee more often. Noticeably more often. And then I got the heartburn. OMG. At that point Daddy and I realized what it might be. I went to the store to buy a test, came back and BAM! Big fat positive!

So, I guess we’re having another baby!!!

A little unexpected but still very exciting. Well, as exciting as possible considering I still feel like crap! It’s funny because we actually have no idea how far along I am. I put a call in to the dr.’s office Friday so I’ll see if they can get me in.
We were looking around at baby name sites. It’s hard finding something we both like. But I found Talia (or maybe Tahlia) this morning and we both really like it for a girl. For a boy we like Noah too. But, we’ll see. We’re even toying with the idea of not finding out the sex. How fun would that be? Pretty fun, I think.
