Well, our year lease ended last month and the landlords, due to the real estate market right now, don’t want to sign another year lease in case they decide they want to sell the house or move back into it. We’ve been perfect tenants though and they said they would give us a great reference so that’s good.

We’ve been looking at a lot of places but found one we really like and looked at it today and Daddy just went to go give the deposit, so sometime in the next month we are moving again!

It’s actually a nicer house, though smaller. A 3-bedroom instead of 4, but it has tinted windows and a brand new A/C unit which will cut down our summer electric bill by 2/3 in addition to the fact that it’s a single story (yay!) and smaller house, plus it has a 1/4 acre backyard (which is really big for So Cal!) It has a nice big open family/living area that is open to the kitchen as well.

Anyway, as much as I hate moving, especially when we do it like EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR….I’m kind of excited. It’s in the same town so Kirby will be able to go to the same school we visited a month or so ago (that I was really excited about) as long as I enroll him before we move. There’s an elementary school right around the corner from this one but we would have to do another IEP meeting and I don’t know if I’ll like it as much, etc. so we’ll stick with the other one even though it’s a little further away.
