I’ve been amazed at Kirby’s ability to recognize almost all the letters in the alphabet, and not in any particular order either (many numbers too). I ask him to find a bunch of letters from, say, a box of cereal and he can point them out 99% of the time, if not all the time. He is totally interested in letters and numbers. I’m just curious where he’s at in this particular area. On a side note, it is the cutest thing when he says the letter S. (He says two letters, E and S.) It sounds like “eh – sh” but separately…it doesn’t run together in one fluid sound and the “sh” is so spitty I can see the spit bubbles through his teeth as he tries to say it. It’s pretty funny!
