We didn’t get that house, but we’re moving into a 3-bedroom townhouse on the other side of town (dammit, just when I get used to this area). It’s a super nice place and is 1500 sq. ft. Not huge, but is nice. Daddy’s brother isn’t moving in with us at this time. A stipulation has been made that he has to show that he can hold down and job and be responsible before he can move in with us. This is kind of a battle with Daddy’s mom. Not a mean battle, but it’s taking some convincing and she now agrees (or at least says she does) that he needs to wait to move out here and get his shit together first. So why are we still moving then? Well, this place is right next to a synagogue (an orthodox one at that). And it’s a branch of the same synagogue that Daddy’s family helped startup many many years ago. (www.aish.org) This is a big thing for us Jewish people! :lol Friday nights and Saturdays we’re not supposed to drive (amongst other things, like being on the internet) and we haven’t been going. We’ve kind of slipped in terms of keeping kosher and all that other stuff and this will be a great thing for us. We can make friends, and I will probably have someone who can watch Kirby if we ever want to go out. Daddy’s mom will come down and stay with us and be able to stay in the 3rd bedroom and then go to services there. I know that most of you probably don’t see the significance of this, but it’s worth Daddy’s mom paying an extra $500 a month to help cover the extra rent so she can come visit! The place has their own putting green, indoor raquetball court, steam room, sauna, business center (yay! I won’t have to buy a fax machine! LOL) and some other stuff. Anyway, we can move in on May 19th.
