The most recent update on Daddy is that what the doctor did won’t fix his fainting problem. It will only POSSIBLY help the atrial fibrillation. It kind of scares me that they went into this without all of the info first. After speaking with the doctor this morning, the fact that during his fainting episode that his heart monitor didn’t automatically get triggered to record it means that his heart didn’t go into a-fib at that time (and thus causing the fainting). So basically he has more than one thing going on and the fainting spells are still going to remain unexplained, OR, he will have two diagnoses – neuro cardiogenic syncope :( and atrial fibrillation. So we have no idea what’s going to happen, if/when he’ll be able to drive, if/when he will need a pacemaker, if/when he would need the more indepth atrial ablation, etc. Everything is pretty much still up in the air. So much for answers.
