Daddy doesn’t feel right, and is having a lot of chest pain. We’re packing our bags and going to the ER.
We got a second opinion today from another cardiologist who is PISSED that our current doc is taking this all so lightly and not being aggressive about it. Daddy has episodes of Ventricular Tachycardia and this can be life threatening. We’ve read this all along but thought the internet was just being dramatic but apparently not. And after the episode last Tuesday with the passing out, this should have been an automatic ER visit. Also, the meds given to Daddy shouldn’t even have been prescribed without knowing the problem, and are likely making things worse.
There are tests that this doc hasn’t run – like an angiogram and the EP study that needs to be done asap according to this cardiologist, who is also a family friend.
So we’re off, please maybe say a prayer or think good thoughts that they run the tests they’re supposed to (we have a letter from the family-friend-doctor) and that they find the problem…they want the doctors there to call her, as they know and respect her there.
