So I’ve been on the thyroid meds for 4 weeks now, which is how long my doctor wanted me to be on it before re-checking. Everything with the surrogacy was pretty much put on hold until this was done. I had my re-check done at the lab Friday so we’re just waiting to hear the results to see if I’m down far enough or if I need to increase my dose…should be tomorrow.

So anyway, Friday afternoon I get a call from my coordinator at the agency about a couple they have that they feel would be a great match for us. We haven’t talked about couples at all since those two they sent over a month ago and if they didn’t think this would be such a good match then they wouldn’t have even pursued it with me since I’m not quite done with medical stuff (but just about).

We’re arranging a meeting for tomorrow afternoon! Yay!

I am excited! I know it’s early and I still have to get my thyroid back to normal range but it sounds like it could be such a great match. Let’s hope this works out! Keep your fingers crossed for us at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow for a good meeting with them. :)
