The last two appointments I’ve had protein in my urine and I’ve also had increased swelling in my legs and ankles (my calves are HUGE! Not so much my ankles though…)
But my blood pressure has been fine. Low, actually. (It’s usually pretty low and hasn’t gone up at all.)
Since the first appt and having the protein, she suggested I up my water intake which I did and especially before my last appt but it didn’t change it. I tried doing a search and didn’t find much regarding this (not having high BP with the other symptoms). Is it possible that my BP just shoots up on its own?? My MIL has a BP machine, I’m wondering if I should borrow it and check every couple of days between appts.
And on a separate note, last night we seriously wondered if it was “time”. I had lots of ctx and felt crampy. Kind of icky in general really. But alas they did go away. We called the dr and everything. I’m just paranoid now about being about an hour away from the hospital, that’s without traffic which can be really really bad on the fwy we need to take (no other way there). What if Kirby is in school and Daddy is at work – I’d need to go pick up Z and coordinate with Daddy and then have to probably drive myself and the kids to his work (which is about halfway to the hospital). All that extra stuff could add another 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. What if I don’t have that much time?!???
