My thyroid IS out of whack. Something about TPO results or something – she said it is “way abnormal”. So she moved my dr. appt. to tomorrow at 2:30pm because she said it definitely is something that needs to be addressed right away. So we were talking about all the results and stuff and I said “yeah I called the automated system and they said it was all normal…blah blah”. So we were about to hang up and I said:

“I’m assuming it’s negative since it wasn’t mentioned, but there was a pregnancy test that was done as well…”

She said, ok let me see. Then I hear, mumbled to herself…

“Huh. it says pos. I’ve never seen it say that before. Hang on a minute.”

She comes back and says, “well, yeah, it says positive!”

I act surprised “Really!?”

“Yeah, well all the more reason to come in tomorrow I guess!”

It was just funny to hear her reaction. And she was cautious how she said it because I guess you never know how people are going to take getting that kind of news.

Anyway, so that’s that. :)
