Monkey has been taking a late nap the last week or so and then she stays up until midnight. As soon as she gets up from her nap, Kirby needs to get to bed, Daddy is working nights lately so he’s not here. I realized last night that I have at least one small child I need to entertain from about 7am through at least midnight with no breaks. Monkey doesn’t nap in the mornings, she goes down right around when Kirby gets home from school. He doesn’t nap anymore – I won’t let him or he’s up until midnight as well – and so there’s not ONE FECKING MINUTE of time to myself during the entire day and I don’t even have any time in the evenings when the kids are supposed to be asleep. And when they’re both awake I can’t turn my back for a second becasue Kirby does something to Monkey OR they’re both fighting for my attention or to “elp” (help) with the computer or “elp” with the puzzle or “elp” with this and that. I can only do so much.

What the hell is going on? Does anyone else have this happen??? I can’t take it anymore. Kirby is constantly crying or whining because he can’t communicate. All he says is “elp” for help but then he can’t tell me exactly what he needs and he gets frustrated and tantrums. Monkey is getting over a cold and is extra clingy. Daddy’s home, but asleep all day since he works at night. I feel like a single mom. I have much respect for single moms…a lot. And then Kirby has been waking up at night crying the last week or so and then comes into my bed so I don’t even get time at night by myself. This sucks! I called Daddy at work last night and said he needs to think of an idea to give me some relief because I’m DONE!
