I’m here and actually able to type with both hands! I check in at least once a day but it’s too hard to post when I’m holding/feeding her. But things are going pretty well! The first couple of days were really rough, she completely had her days and nights mixed up. She woke up every 45 minutes to 1 hour at night and would sleep 3+ hours at a time during the day if I let her. I’m just starting to feel like a person again, I was a complete zombie. She’s now up every 2-2 1/2 hours at night which is tons better…I get 2-hour blocks of sleep and then the last block in the morning is 3 hours. If I get the opportunity to sleep in ’til like noon I could get another 3 hour block in but I can’t stand getting up that late. And I’m waking her up about every hour during the day to feed her which is really seeming to help. Kirby is doing better. He is starting to come around and he seems to be his happy self again and not so sad. Gawd, that just killed me seeing him like that! :(
